Mine

Mine

In our blind persuit of happiness and people who aren't meant for us we all lose a part of ourself loving someone who doesn't deserve it.
I wish I could absorb all his sadness
And replace it with utter joy
I wish I could trade my happiness
And see him flutter to the sky
I wish I could make a difference
So that he would be mine
