XOXO (Sonnet)
You find a letter on your doorstep
Not everyone can understand our love
the way my heart burns when I see your smile my breath rushes like I’ve just run a mile I want you to cherish me, my beloved like the time I left you, that pretty dove when you found it (I saw), you screamed, “how vile” I admit, the bloated thing, smelled like bile no need to take the main street home—sort of. Don’t change your habits and skip morning runs keep getting that coffee, strong with two creams I like to watch you (so don’t hide from me) dry your tears, watching you cry isn’t fun drop the charges (enjoy red color schemes?) say you love me—and don’t make me angry Leave a tip for this poet? lol... To use the sonnet form to express the classic as seen through the eyes of the stalker, clever. The way you capture dark poetry has soul. Many great lines within this crafty creepy and lightheartedly quirky gem!

Many great lines within this crafty creepy and lightheartedly quirky gem! This was a sonnet I had written during my time in college. I had a poetry class and they wanted love sonnets...so I gave them one ;) No one said it had to be a mutual love haha Thank you for reading and your kind comments! <3
Take something for your heartburn.
