Lucid Friend
Begin again
My lucid friend Drink up time Cold shouldered ends Retreat unturned You rend and burn Touch kept close With carless yearn The lofty view Becomes all used When left for dead Salted, refused It peels all old My vision untold But driven to dust Our precious new fold Leave a tip for this poet? The poem is full of forced, nonsensical rhymes, and therefore falls flat.
